This year I have begun to focus more on personal development.  As a part of this focus, I have committed to a couple of programs that I hope will help me in a big way.  The first is the 5 Days to Your Best Year Ever by Michael Hyatt.  I was on the fence for a few weeks about purchasing this program.  I think it was less about the monetary investment than it was the personal and time commitment.  I did go ahead and bit the bullet though, because as Hyatt says, if I don’t do anything different this year, my results will be the same as last year and all previous years.


In addition to the Best Year Ever, I have also just finished reading The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. I first heard about Hal and his book from Pat Flynn on the Smart Passive Income podcast.  I was immediately fascinated.  The results sounded impressive.  However, like Hal and many of the other practitioners of The Miracle Morning, I am not a “morning person.”  In an effort to realize my full potential and achieve “Level 10” success in every area of my life, I’m committing to giving it a try.  Today is my first day of the 30-Day Life Transformation Challenge.  This morning I was up and out of bed at 6:00AM and going through the Life S.A.V.E.R.S.:

  • Silence
  • Affirmations
  • Visualization
  • Exercise (yoga)
  • Reading
  • Scribing (journaling)

This morning went well and I will update on my progress as I continue through the program. I am somewhat combining the methods of Hal Elrod and Michael Hyatt in my morning routine.  I’m sure I will tweak it as I go along and will be sure to share my results here on the blog.
