Today’s run was a group run hosted by Big Peach Running Company in Midtown to preview the Hotlanta Half Marathon Course. They offered 4, 6, 8 and 10 mile routes with directions for each. My initial plan was to run the 8 mile route, since it fit into my training plan distance-wise. However, I missed to the split off and wound up following a group of 10 mile runners. I was able to cut out the Piedmont Park portion of the course and with a half a loop around the Big Peach store I was able to finish with a distance of 9 miles.

It was an awesome morning to run. I enjoyed meeting some other great runners and Big Peach Running Company hosted a great event. There were even several tables setup with various sponsors and charity participants of the Hotlanta Half. After talking with David of Big Peach, I may have decided to train for a full marathon next. We’ll see….
